That’s just in! Emilio Cavallini’s online boutique is now selling men’s leggings, or as some people say “meggings,” or the way Emilio puts it, “unisex tights.” I’m pretty surprised, impressed, and quiet confused. There’s this part of me that LOVES them, and this very little part that doesn’t like them, but I figured, they’re worth a shot, right?
Take a look:
Personally, I would try wearing one of those. They’re quiet inexpensive, about $28 each. The online boutique is offering many other designs, click here to be redirected to Emilio Cavallini’s boutique.
But what do you guys think? Would you even consider wearing one of those?
I think they look awesome — on the models. I see very few people who look good in them (to me, anyway.) Wearing them under a skirt, a dress, or a long shirt is one thing, walking around confirming not just thunder thighs (I’ve got nothing against full figures) but the-whole-tsunami thighs and a squishy ass is just gross. I think men can get away with wearing these much easier than many women.
Another thing that looks awful on us (women) is those “shrugs” (the things smaller than Bolero sweaters). Surely, they weren’t made for pear-shaped people or people with huge bellies, were they? Oh, BTW, we’ve never met — I just thought I’d check you out because you were kind enough to do the same for me.:-D And I’m so glad I stopped by.This is fresh, and I love it!
There are two things you just can’t do with me Mr. Fashion Blog:
1. Ask my honest opinion about anything (but you asked!);
2. Take me anywhere (or so my best friend tells me…).
Hmm im not sure what id say if my boyfriend turned up wering these
“Love endures all things.” (1 Corinthians 13:7). So, I guess you’d just have to find a way to deal with it! ;-D
Unless the guy is a ballerina, thespian, or figure skater…I see no reason he should wear tights. It just looks weird to me, but to each his own.
Okay, as a historical dress fanatic I can safely say that I LOVE men in tights! There’s something so sexy and interesting about “inverting” gender norms…that were already inverted (men used to wear hose under their breeches and when their doublets were shorter sometimes it was allllll hose!). Go for it! I approve!
I dunno. Too ballet for me maybe….I love ballet, on the stage. Not sure I’d want to see my husband in these at all though. Maybe for theater?
they look very nice. and when u consider cyclists have been wearing tights and look very masculine in them, no reason why men cannot wear these. they will be practical too, as they will keep the legs warm . also any guy with great calves will be able to show them off .
