The self-proclaimed “Guardian of Fashion” is sharing her love of accessories with H&M. The Swedish mass retailer has announced a new collaboration with Vogue Japan’s fashion director at large, Anna Dello Russo.

Knowing Del Russo’s style, expect the collection to be over the top. The fashionista has amassed blogosphere fame with her intriguing head pieces, her mile-high heels and her gold-dipped style.

The line will consist of jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, bags and of course a trolley to carry all of your purchases home in. (We kid you not.) Del Russo chose to focus on accessories because they’re more accessible. “With these pieces, everybody can have fun, and turn an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day,” Del Russo explained in her H&M video.

More importantly, accessories are therapeutic. In her H&M video, filmed at her decadent Milan apartment, Del Russo holds up a bracelet from the collection and explains, “They make a sound, this sound bling bling bling. This sound is a great sound because it’s a therapeutic sound.”

H&M has collaborated with the likes of Versace, Marni and Stella McCartney in the past, but this is the first time they’ve worked with a fashion icon and not a designer. Del Russo attributes it to an evolution that is happening in fashion right now.

Although not a designer, Del Russo’s says she speaks the language of fashion. “I can tell much more interesting things through clothes than word. This is my language, this is my alphabet. “

The collection will be available in October in 140 stories worldwide and online at
